In 1999 I went to view a house which was built in 1900 I liked it cause it had character but the wife wasn�t happy as the bathroom and toilet were downstairs and she said it was a bit eerie anyway after a discussion I decided to buy it for the first 8 months nothing happened then one night my son who had been standing outside talking to friends came in and said to my wife can you stop spying on us I kept seeing you standing behind the net curtains in your bedroom me wife looked at me knowing full well she had not been upstairs all night anyway a couple of weeks later we had been out visiting we pulled on to the drive and as I was getting out of the car I looked up and saw someone step back from my bedroom window thinking someone had broken in I got a jack handle from boot of car went in went up stairs checked bedrooms nothing. there was no sign of a break-in about 3 months later I had a day of and was having a lie in kids left for school then wife shouted up bye and I herd her pull of the drive after about ten minutes I herd the front door open and close then someone started walking up the stairs all though the stairs were carpeted it sounded like they were walking on bare wood I called out thinking the wife had returned there was no answer the next thing I did which makes me laugh now was I grabbed my clothes up and ran over to the window and opened it to jump out but realised it was to high I stood behind the door for about 10 minutes before plucking up the courage to open it there was nothing there I rang wife and asked her did she come back she said no about two months past when she decided to get up in middle of night to use the toilet as she opened the front room door in the reflection of the fish tank she saw a man sitting on the settee she came running back up to the bedroom crying and shaking saying to me I don�t want to live here any more any way I managed to quieten her down and I convinced her it was where she had been half a sleep but deep down I new she properly had seen something then a week later I woke in the middle of the night standing at the foot of the bed was a young girl with her back to me facing the window she then turned round and she was cuddling a teddy bear age was between 7 and 10 she looked at me smiled and run out of bedroom I was absolutely terrified and froze I tried to say something to my wife while it was going on but nothing would come out. for the next six weeks I could not sleep and I kept my bedside light on all night after that I was unhappy living in the house you was always on edge a lot of other things did happen in the house but in 2003 we sold up and moved .the house we live in now you can just feel it�s a happy house ive had no paranormal experiences since thank god

untill the age of twenty if someone talked about ghosts id say what aload of rubbish. then this happened to me in 1985 i was painting a loft convertion in a victorian house in sawbridgworth every morning and even a couple of times when id been out at dinner time when i walked up the stairs to the landing which was about 50foot long at the very end would be this lady standing in the doorway. she would smile at me then walk in the room and shut the door on the friday i finished the job went down to the owner in the conversation with her i happened to say is that your mum upstairs she looked at me and said mum i said yea the women in the end bedroom she looked at me again and said stop pulling my leg theres only me and you in the house well the hairs on the back of my neck stood up she still said pull the other one when i told her what had happened. from that day i can say 100% that ghosts exist since then ive lived in a haunted house and had a frightening experience while walking past a church at 2 o clock in the morning which i will tel on the forum as soon as my kids let me use the computer again

Not at all, your very welcome! Have you seen the upcoming investigations? We have one at the Kelvedon Hatch and another later into the Autumn at the Ragged School, in Mile End.

Check them out! Still a few places available if your intersested!
